Latest update 04/11/20: practice status during lockdown
The practice remains open for urgent as well as routine appointments!
Despite the rise in the UK infection rate and the start of a second national lockdown as of 05/11/20, it was a key message of the Prime Minister’s address on Saturday 31/10/20, that the public should continue to seek the health service they need, keep scheduled appointments and not postpone seeking appropriate care.
Government legislation allows the public to continue to access medical services throughout this period and this includes osteopathic services. As in the previous lockdown, the legislation identifies osteopaths as essential workers in the provision of healthcare services, and osteopaths can remain open for the provision of much needed local services to include routine appointments, during this second lockdown.
I would like to reassure all my patients that all necessary Covid-19 secure procedures are being taken at my practice to minimise the risk of transmission of this virus when consulting me.
As always should you have any concerns or need to clarify anything, then please do not hesitate to contact me.
Please be safe and take care of your health during lockdown.
