Covid-19 updates

By 24th February 2022April 7th, 2022Uncategorised

As a healthcare setting, the practice is still required to maintain heightened infection control measures for face-to-face appointments. This is despite the lifting of legal Covid-19 restrictions in England from 24/02/2022.

Please do not attend the practice if you have symptoms of Covid-19, are unwell with symptoms of a cold or flu, or have been sick with a tummy bug in the last 48hrs.

Please contact me should you be unsure about what to do as the time we would have to wait before scheduling your face-to-face appointment may vary from a situation to another.

Please note that you will still be required to wear a face covering during your session (unless medically exempt) and to sanitize your hands on arrival. Your osteopath will still be wearing all recommended levels of PPE to treat you, currently: sessional medical grade surgical mask, disposable apron, disposable gloves between patients, and re-usable visor (latest two currently to be used by risk-assessment only). All touched surfaces in the treatment room will be sanitized between patients.

The lavatories and waiting room area, being shared with other practices, are unfortunately out of my control so please apply your judgement and caution when using them at your discretion.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation and should you have any questions then please do not hesitate to contact me on 01273 661592 or by email at info@alexandraluzzatoosteopath.com
